STS : A Family Run Non-Profit Keeping Homeless Dogs Happy With Self-Built Automatic Feeders
Meet Rachel and Nicole, the sister team who set up @straytalessociety (STS)—a non-profit organisation whose mission it is to keep the hungry homeless dogs of KL well fed. ❤️ The two sisters, along with their mum and dad, used to regularly feed doggos in need. They soon realised that there had to be a more efficient way to carry out feeding. Enter = their very own dog food dispenser! 🐶 With the help from some friends, they built a device that not only provides food and water for dogs, but keeps the floor clear of mess. With a little bit of patience and training, the homeless doggos soon learnt how to use the feeder. Best of all, the feeder only needs to be refilled every few days - saving on time for anyone who wants to care for the homeless doggos out there. 🤯 ⭐️ If you would like to build your own device for the hungry doggos in your area, or help out the founders of STS do more great work, please reach out to straytalessociety on instagram! ✉️ What do you think about their idea? Drop a “❤️” if you love it! 🌟 SHARE this with your friends and family today! . . AMAZING AUNTY BUILDS ANIMAL SHELTER IN RAINFOREST; LOOKS AFTER 200 DOGS AND CATS
Meet Aunty Winnie, a 67-year-old animal lover who has set up her animal shelter @cherishlifehome in the jungle! 🌳 There are about 200 dogs and 14 cats living there under Aunty’s care! ❤️ ▶️ Check out Aunty Winnie’s story in the video above! ✨ Since moving out to the countryside to keep the doggos safe, the shelter has been visited by wild animals including monkeys, snakes, wild boars and even a panther! 🤯 Aunty Winnie holds on to a belief that maintaining a high quality of life for the animals under her care is better than taking in large numbers and compromising each doggo’s wellbeing, hence she limits the number of animals she takes in ❤️. 🌱 To help the animals socialise, @cherishlifehome is open for visits if you’d like to spend some time with the doggos and cats! 😊 🥣 In addition to this, they’re also always in need of some extra canned (wet) food and kibbles too! 😋 💌 Reach out to @cherishlifehome on Instagram, or Cherishlife Home on Facebook to arrange a visit, or help Aunty Winnie out! 💌
